I love this insight into a little tower I see almost daily and have done for almost 1/4 century.

I’ve always loved its pep and human-like refusal to be forgotten or removed.

I look forward to seeing it next to its new towering neighbour, what a dramatic sight that will be - similar to St Mary Axe and the Gherkin.

Am sure it will. Pleased I will be able to work around watching as it will be school holidays and will probably be on call for the grandchildren 😂

Fascinating read, Nathen. What an amazing discovery. Lets hope it remains protected from demolition. Too many old buildings are swallowed up but Medieval Churches are very special. Thank you for bringing us the history of this lovely survival of a lost world.
