A remarkable man! A pity his grave was destroyed. Henry VIII really does not seem to appreciate his Welsh ancestors!!!

Jasper Tudor protected both his nephew and his young sister in law. For me he sounds like one of the better Tudors. He didn't fight for gain or land, he fought for a cause. Thank you for sharing. It must have been an honour for Henry and Elizabeth to attend his internment.

I think Jasper Tudor was the most honorable man in all of English history. He never fought for his own gain. He protected his nephew Henry all of his life. He always put himself second to Henry's interests. His burial may be lost, but his memory will never be lost.

He also tried to protect his other nephew, the son of Henry VI, Edward of Westminster. 1453-1471
