Up first, on the weekend of 19-21 July is the inaugural SOUTHWARK CATHEDRAL HISTORY FESTIVAL, and the line-up is STONKING GOOD.

Speaking this year are Helen Castor, Annie Garthwaite, Nicola Tallis, James Wright, Diarmuid MacCulloch, Joanne Paul, Alison Weir, Gareth Russell, Nadine Akkerman, Pete Langman, Lara Maiklem, Tracy Borman, Chris Laoutaris, Ruth Goodman, Phil Downing and Lesley Smith. Oh, AND ME, and I’ll be discussing HENRY & ELIZABETH, the marriage that made the Tudors
And then we come to THE HISTORY FESTIVAL AT HEVER CASTLE, which is running 19-21 September at the gorgeous home of Anne Boleyn. Speaking during this extraordinary weekend in an OUTDOOR TENT are Tracy Borman, Luke Pepera, Alfred Hawkins, Eleri Lynn, Elizabeth Norton, Owen Emmerson, Kate McCaffrey, Estelle Paranque, Melita Thomas, Gareth Russell and Linda Porter. Oh, AND ME, where this time I’ll be looking at the origins of the Tudor dynasty and the rise of the SON OF PROPHECY himself, Henry VII.
